While traveling around Yellowstone NP we saw many Buffalo (Bison). We had seen numerous pine trees with the lower bark rubbed completely away. We had wondered what the cause of the damaged bark was? Then we saw this fellow working away on a tree. A wild and crazed look in his eyes. Bark was flying off. The big male rubbing the side of his head as if he had a powerful itch. The rangers claim these docile looking creatures gore vehicles every season. I am happy they took it out on the tree!
