This could be one of a thousand places found just like it, scattered across the southwest. The weathered remains of old corrals. Overgrown with sagebrush. A reminder of how different, or perhaps still the same, life might be for different people.
The setting sun provided an awesome back drop for about 15 minutes. As the sun fell below the distant horizon, it bathed the weathered timbers in a multitude of colors. It was over as quickly as it appeared. Gone as darkness crept in.
As I stood and watched natures show, several songs came to mind. "Ghost Riders in the Sky" seemed to be playing in the faint distance. :-)
